My car was getting long in the tooth and I wanted something I could drive dirt roads with (SUV, Truck). I looked online and like a few vehicles on http://www.cashforcars... . So I e-mailed and Mike responded. that Sunday I had traded my car in and am driving a great GMC truck. It was quick and easy, also very low pressure. Mike was great and I want to thank him for meeting me on Sunday. Here is the best part of the story, we thought my payments would be a certain amount. But when they found my loan it was 20% cheaper! So I had to go back in and resign, so I could get a lower payment. Times are tough, but I appreciate the effort Mike and Cash for Cars has made to meet my needs ( and desires) for a truck. I just read DinaO and Brett L's reviews and totally disagree

My experience with Cash for Cars and Greg has been really the opposite. To date I have bought 7 cars here and each time I do business with Cash for Cars I am well taken care of.

In Dec 08 I bought two more cars a Chevy Cavalier and a Mercedes CLK 430. Not only did I get a great deal on the car they shopped the best financing for me.

I have referred many friends, family and business colleagues to buy cars here and they also keep going back. Greg and his team are good people and have the customers best interest in mind. I have even been there when customers need help fixing their cars months after buying them and they bend over backwards for them.

Greg is not a slimy car salesman or a bad person. He is very active in his community and is well known. The fact that Cash for Cars has been in business for over 16 years should speak volumes to how he runs his business.

Even when the economy is in the toilet he is still thriving and there is a reason for it. Cash for Cars does good business, if you are buying or selling a car give this place a chance I think you will go back, I have and will continue to. I am also still sending people to do business with Cash for Cars because they have proven over and over that they are professionals and have my best interest in mind.

Great customer service!

I shopped around a lot and eventually sold them my car. I got a fairly low price for it (I was hoping for more). But... months later I found that my insurance company had not yet taken the car off of my account, since I had not given them any verification of sale. I went back to them, and they spent a lot of time looking me up in the system, checking the transaction at DMV, etc. It was a busy time when I went, yet they spent an unusual amount of time, with a very friendly demeanor, to help me. I have to say they went above and beyond in their customer service, since they could have just pointed me to the DMV site and walked away!

Granted, it's only been one day since I bought my car here, but I have to give kudos to Izzy and the rest of http://CashForCars.net. Because of a situation I can't go into here, my credit is not good. I'm working on rebuilding it, but in the meantime... my old car finally died for good and I needed a replacement. Auto dealers (new cars) would either tell me there was no way I could financing or wouldn't even bother to return my call after seeing my credit rating.

Izzy was not only professional, but incredibly courteous. He let us test drive a car and when we found one we liked, he and I were able to come to an agreement and work out financing. Granted, the interest rate isn't the best, but HE DID IT. The local Honda dealer was polite but said no. The local VW dealer wouldn't even call me back. Izzy did it.

I now have a great car and I feel that i got a great deal. I would happily recommend Izzy and http://CashForCars.net. They're awesome.

02/13/10 - a follow up. It's been 2 months and the car is still awesome. I wanted to mention that Izzy called me the other day to find out how the car was doing. I have had one problem show up and he's already volunteered to fix it. This just makes my opinion of Cash for Cars even higher.

Honest car guys

One search on where I could sell my car...Cash for Cars came up in the regular results #1....One visit to their location on San Carlos and they gave me a very reasonable estimate in no time....One big smile on my face when I left with money in my pocket! Everyone should know how easy it is to sell your car without the hassle of craigslist or for sale signs....plus I was too late for cash for clunckers...little did I know that these guys have been doing this for years without a stimulus plan!! Check them out...for reals

We had an overall good experience with Cash for Cars. Our sales guy was not pushy, and we ended up getting a great deal on an Acura MDX that was in mint condition. I think we paid book value, or slightly under. All the service people that we encountered were very friendly.

The only slight problems:

1/ our registration / plates didn't show up after 1.5 mths, so I started making phone calls. It took a few days to finally reach someone who could help me. It turned out that the car needed a Smog Test done, and I had to bring the car back for that, so everything could get processed.

2/ they asked me to come in for Smog Test. I drove from my home in Morgan Hill, to their car lot. As soon as I arrived, I was told to go to the place where the Smog tests are done, which was SOUTH of them, about a 10 min drive. (Which means 20 min's of my driving was a waste, as I could have went straight there in the first place).

3/ I'm sure that we were told that a oil change was included, and the car would be detailed when we first purchased, but that never happened. I didn't push it either. I did hint at it when I went to the lot re: smog test, but they just told me where I could get a oil change, near the place where the Smog Test would be done. They did cover the cost of the Smog Testing.

I think a follow-up call would be good after a purchase, and then perhaps some of the things that were overlooked would be taken care of right away. I'd give 3.5 stars if I could ;) But, overall we are happy, so I'll round up to 4 stars :) I would go back again.

They are fair. I Recommend them!!

Great guys here. I bought my first car from Cash for Cars 14 years ago. Good deal on the car. Greg Tomassian (The Boss) has done a terrific job developing a city wide brand. Greg confidently posts his name and picture on advertisements all over town inviting people to do business. Not many used car dealers can say they do the same. If Cash for Cars was doing anything other than good, ethical business it would be a risky move. I'd buy another car from Them, OR sell them one! =)

I sold my car to Cash for Cars and the buyer was Awesome! It took me only about 15 minutes in and out. They wrote me a check on the spot and I was able to cash it the same day. Stand up company and I would refer them to everyone.

I love Cash For Cars! I have known the owner Greg Tomassian for over 20 years. I bought my first car from him back when he worked at Stevens Creek Mitsubishi back in 1985. He was so cool, so honest, and so kind that we became friends.

He has owned Cash For Cars for many years and treats his customers with respect. It's amazing what he does for his customers. 3 of my friends purchased cars from him over the last 10 years. I was confident in referring Greg because I knew he would take care of them.

He even has his own finance company so he can make some killer deals. I highly recommend Cash For Cars. The sales people are great but ask for Greg when you go in there to get the royal treatment.

By the way, if you are looking to sell your car and don't want strangers showing up to your house to take it for a test drive, you may want to to consider selling it to Cash For Cars. They buy cars every day from the public and pay more than other dealers. It is SO MUCH easier than trying to sell it on your own. They will even buy it if you still owe money on it. Pretty cool.
